GHOST IN THE TOWERS
is a series of black ink paintings that depict the feeling of loneliness and strangeness that can be felt in the cities. The motif of towers can be observed both as characters that haunt the cities and as urban or rural landscapes.
Grise-Mine
in English, ‘to look glum’ blends different motifs to evoke introspection, anger, and mystery. The process started with an abstract forest painting, but evolved as faces were integrated into the trees. At times, the trees themselves were integrated into the faces.
