Is that all there is to the World?
is an interactive illustration book that bridges the theme of apocalypse and self-introspection. Created primarily with black ink, each paintings call for a reflection on the social and environmental state of the Earth. Through depictions of collapsing nature and unreal characters, the book highlights the loneliness that can be felt within society. Mini-games have been designed and integrated into some of the pages to enhance immersion in the story.
By highlighting the dark humor present in the book, those actions also allow turning certain situations into games—even when they wouldn’t “normally” be seen that way.
In addition, the book is built on a branching narrative (a story-line that diverges based on the player’s decisions), transforming the reader into an active participant in the story.
